"Damn! It's True" for Today
1. Sometimes i have to act like i dont care, even if i do
2. Sometimes i waste my time thinking of someone i'll never have
3. Some of the best things in life are MISTAKES!
4. I dont need anyone in my life who doesnt want to be there
5. Women: worry about the things men forget; Men: worry about the things women remember
6. An "ex" is called an "ex" because it's an EXample of what I shouldn't have again in the future
7. I'm very hard to understand but extremely easy to please
8. I hate when I feel I have so much to say and can't put it into words
9. I'm not afraid to try again, I'm just afraid of getting hurt for the same reason
10. It's so easy to make up your mind but the hardest thing is to convincing your heart
11. The hardest part about accepting "everything happens for a reason" is waiting for that reason to come along

English writing class :)
Last Saturday, I went to my brother's high school friend's wedding party, I met one of his friend that used to work in The Jakarta Post and I had a little chit-chat with him. He said that they are going to put me in an English class for the first 3 months and teach me how to write in English (Ok, I think it's going to be more like school than work, so they are going to pay me to study in their place, yeeaayy..). That's exactly what I really need, an English writing class. I really want to learn how to write in English, as you can see my English writing is like a kindergarten kid. I really wish that i can write like a professional journalist like Deanna Ferrari or people in Journalistics and PRBC, they are so cool, I'm a big fan of them.
I think that's the very short update from me, wish me luck peepz so that I can pass the first year..

C'est La Vie
FUTURE
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife
SUCCESS
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
MARRIAGE
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn’t.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won’t change, but she does.
DRESSING UP
A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the trash, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail.
A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.
NATURAL
Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed.
Women somehow deteriorate during the night.
OFFSPRING
Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams.
A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.
MONEY
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn’t need but it’s on sale.
BATHROOMS
A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel.
The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.
ARGUMENTS
A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument..
My very first SENTENCES..
Morning peeps, you know what, i totally forgot that i have this blog, shoott!!! I just found out yesterday that i have an account in blogger.com. So, since i have already found out, now i will try to write some sentences that came out from my mind in my tiny little head..
Ok, i can't wait until 31st January 2011, because that's going to be my first day working at The Jakarta Post, yeaayy..that's my dream job.. WAIITT!!!! I think i need to rewind some things, because this is my first sentences, so i think i need to introduce myself first to you all.. (Sorry, my bad - just so excited about my dream job :p)
Let's start!!
Me, myself..
Me, a 25 years old woman (actually i prefer girl than woman coz i'm still young and single, but that's fine by me, hehe..) working in an oil & gas company, just graduated 1,5 years ago from Journalism Faculty in Voronezh State University - Russian Federation (so now you know why working at The Jakarta Post is one of my dream job). Actually my real originally dream job was working at BBC in Great Britain, but i think that's really high and i don't think i can reach it, so i just keep that in mind and dream it every night before i sleep (ok, that's a little bit exagerating). I spent 5 years of my life in Russian Federation to learn about journalistics and to dig more about life, hahaha... Life in Russia is so DAMN interesting!! If you can survive Russia, you can survive any country in the world. I think someday i will share some of my story in Russia.
Me, my family..
I came from a Javanese family, my dad came from Yogyakarta (though he was born in Magelang), my mom came from Solo. I'm the youngest and the only girl in my family. I have 3 older brothers; the oldest married to Australian woman and have 3 children, they live happily ever after in Australia; the second, the third and me myself are single and still searching (haha..)
Me, my friends..
When i was in senior high school, i joined a marching band group called Korps Putri Tarakanita, from that group i found my BFFs - about 35 persons and we called our self ACESA NAYA ANANYAMATYA TUSTACITTA or ACESA. Every 2 weeks (until now) we always get together and have a little chit-chat, laughing about the past, discussing about the future, making a lot of fun together.
Me, my work..
Me working in an oil & gas company (as i already mentioned before), surrounded by "naughty" old men with a very freak boss, but if you know how to deal with them, they are quite nice though and i'm happy working with them. On Friday, 21st January 2011 is going to be my last day working in this company (i already mentioned the reason, right?)
Yeeaayy..that's the end of my introduction, to be continued to the next level of my sentences.
