BF: "What do you think if I come over to see you?"
Me: "I will be very happy if you can come over and see me."
BF: "Ok then, I will book my flight ticket today."
Me: "What?? Are you sure?"
I told my family about that surprise news and my family was so excited about that and we started to clean the house and decided in which room can my boyfriend stays during his visit in Jakarta. I was soooo happy. Nothing could describe my happiness, that was a very super duper good surprise. I can say that was the sweetest birthday present I have ever had :)
On his first day in Jakarta, me, my brother and his friend took him to the National Monument, Istiqlal Mosque and Jakarta Old Town. My boyfriend was so amazed with the condition in Jakarta because it was his first time going to Asian country. He couldn't imagine the situation before.
The excited part is those students never seen white person before and my boyfriend never been to Jakarta before and never seen people who are strongly attracted to him. So he felt very amazed and very happy.
We found a marching band was practicing on the mosque field. It was so nice seeing them practicing. I think they were practicing for Grand Prix Marching Band (GPMB). Good luck people!!
After that, we went to Pasar Baru. Pasar Baru is the oldest market in Jakarta. It was build in 1820. There are a lot of Indian people live around Pasar Baru, there are around 2,000 Indian families live in that area.
There are a lot of shops in Pasar Baru, such as shoes shops, clothes shops, sports shops and many more.
On his second day in Jakarta, we took him to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). We hired a motorcycle inside the TMII and my boyfriend was so excited because it was his first time driving a motorcycle.
We stopped in every different places in TMII, such as puppet palace, bird park and many more. Our next stop after TMII was Grand Indonesia shopping mall to have lunch. He was so amazed with the shopping mall because there is no such very glamorous shopping mall in Australia.
At night, we visited our Australian friend who live in Jakarta for almost a year. She is my brother's bestfriend in Australia. She took us to see a night life in Kemang, South Jakarta. And we spent the night at her place.
The next day, I took him to see my highschool friends in CBD and my friends took us to karaoke.
On Sunday, my family took him to have dinner together at One Pacific Place shopping mall, other glamorous shopping mall in Jakarta.
On his last day in Jakarta, I took him to Taman Safari zoo in Bogor. Very excited for him to see many kind of animals he never seen before. Even we took pictures with tiger, lion and baby monkey. So amazing because he could never do that in his country.They would never allow people to take picture with wild animals.
That was very exciting trip for him, I'm so glad that he would come over to see me. I'm so happy, thanks a lot my baby for the very nice birthday present. Love you xxxxxxxxx
