Chinese New Year 2013

Chinese New Year 2013, I and my brother's family went to Brisbane to see the celebration of Chinese New Year. First thing we did when we arrived in Brisbane was having lunch in Sunny Bank.
In Sunny Bank, they have Asian blocks where they have many Asian restaurants. We ate Chinese foods and we drank es cendol, yummy..

After that, we went to Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in South Bank. We saw very interesting exhibition in there. It was so amazing, I love that gallery. In GOMA, they have exhibition every six months. I really hope that I can go there again sometime.

Our next destination after GOMA was the China town in somewhere in Brisbane, I can't even remember the name of the place. We watched many performances there, such as Chinese dances, songs, musics and dragon dance. It was super busy in the China town, we wanted to have dinner there but we couldn't find any restaurant. All the restaurants in China town were fully booked, far out!! So we decided to go to other place to find something to eat and we ended up in one of Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane. After dinner finished, we headed back home.

Love that day!

Balinese dance at playschool :)

Two weeks ago, I performed Balinese dancing at my niece Jati's play school. It was so interesting because all the kids audience were so amazed with my performance. Like my sister-in-law Megan said that kids are good audience.
Jati was so proud with me, I am so happy with that. The school teachers were so amazed too. They even posted the pictures on their Facebook page. Hahaha...I'm so happy with that. That was my second time dancing in Australia. The first time was in 2007. I was dancing at one of primary schools in Australia, I don't even remember the name of the school. At that time, I was dancing and my brother's friend Kadek was making his famous Balinese satay. The children were so happy. My mom was there too and she was so proud of me. I am so happy if I can make other people happy :)

Build trust in you

I found this picture on my friend's Facebook. I really like this picture because it really defines most of the people in the world.
People will never satisfied with what they have in their life. They always want more and more or they always want what other people have.
In some ways it is good, but in other ways it is not good. It can be good because it can give you motivation to live and to be better everyday, but if those people want something that "extraordinary" then it cannot be good.
Sometimes, we need to really appreciate what we have. The key is just build confidence in you and just believe in yourself. Don't always compare you to other people. If you believe in yourself, other people will believe in you and will love you just the way you are. If you want to change, don't change for other people, but change for yourself.
