Today is my first day back in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, after I left this place about a month ago. Last time, I spent about one week in Sunshine Coast. Now, I think I am gonna spend more than one week in this place. Even, I hope I will not come back again to my country.
This trip is going to be my new life adventure. I hope I would have a better life journey.
The journey started when I left my beloved country, Indonesia, on Monday night and arrived in Sydney on Tuesday Morning.
I spent some times in Sydney before I continue my flight to Brisbane. I took a walk around Circular Quay area. I went to the famous Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour and The Museum of Contemporary Arts.
Sydney Harbour is commonly referred to as the most beautiful natural harbour in the world. Those who come to see it will understand why. The 240 kilometers of shoreline encompass approximately 54 square kilometers of water, which translates to an enormous area for exploration and discovery.
Although there are exclusive homes dotted around the water's edge, there are large tracts of parklands, reserves and gardens that balance the harbour environmentally. It is possible to walk around much of the harbour edge and picnic in many spots.
The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was conceived and largely built by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, opening in 1973 after a long gestation that had begun with his competition-winning design in 1957. Joseph Cahill's New South Wales Government gave the go-ahead for work to begin in 1958. The government's bold decision to select Utzon's design is often overshadowed by the scandal that followed.
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) is an Australian museum solely dedicated to exhibiting, interpreting and collecting contemporary art, both from across Australia and around the world. It is housed in the Art Deco-style former Maritime Services Board Building on the western edge of Circular Quay. This area was the traditional lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
The museum was opened in 1991 and recently underwent a $58 million expansion and re-development.
I had a very nice day in Sydney. But, so sad because I only had few hours to spend in that place. I hope I can spend more days in Sydney because I think Sydney is a very nice place to live.
The day in Sydney was just the beginning of my new life adventure. I will tell you my other new life adventures later. Have fun and keep the faith!
